A project is one set of flags with its own bucket, SDKs, and audit log. Most companies have 1-3 (e.g. web + mobile + ml). A side project is a project. A staging env is not — environments are free inside a project.
Traditional vendors run the evaluation path, so they meter it. We don't. Your SDKs read from your bucket. Our only ongoing cost is the control plane, which scales with projects, not with your traffic. Pricing should reflect that.
Your bucket is still yours, with the last signed config. Your SDKs will keep reading it forever. You lose the ability to push new changes from our dashboard, and you lose MCP, but nothing breaks in production. No lock-in by design.
